This website is an introduction to my creative work.  It contains short fiction, essays, poems, song lyrics, excerpts from some novels, and digital images of Plastiglas (R): stained glass art created with my original process.

Recently, I was feeling good about the future, only to realize that this is a ridiculous emotion to have.  Feeling good about the future makes as much sense as feeling good about Neptune or the metric system.  How can we evaluate or attach specific emotions to the future?  It simply is time we have not experienced.

Then I corrected myself again.  Since the future is a mental construct, it is appropriate to relate it to other mental constructs, such as happiness and pleasure.  Whereas it is not plausible to feel good about the future, per se, since it does not yet exist, I can have happy fantasies about it.  And since they are fantasies, I should probably keep them to myself.

Why you should explore this site

This web site will not extend your life by even a moment.

The one assurance I can give is that the time this visit subtracts from your life may reward you with insights, reflections and evidence of a kindred mind.

Ultimately, the thoughts we share may be our strongest connection.

It's About Time.  A New, Original Voice

In these pages I provide writings in fiction, essay, poetry, and drama--
new and under copyright, as well as unfiltered observations in my journal.  By sampling these, I hope you come to know how
                 I've spent my life.
